Biography
The All-India Muslim League was founded after meeting in Lucknow, September 1906. It arose from the Aligarh University, in a movement led by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. Sultan Muhammed Shah, the third Aga Khan, was elected the first president. He was born on 2 November 1877 in Karachi and is buried in Aswan, Egypt.
