Biography
Frederick John Robinson was best known as The Viscount Goderich and was a British politician, holding multiple political positions under Tory and Whig governments. Robinson served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1827 to 1828, resigning after the disintegration of his Tory administration. In 1830, Robinson moved over to the Whigs as Colonial Secretary for Lord Grey. He was appointed President of the Board of Trade from 1841-1843 before taking his final ministerial position as President of the Board of Control from 1843-1846.
